Everyone is in the same boat right now. These delays are happening at every direct China port across the US. It's a complicated and quite frankly overwhelming fraud situation CBP is dealing with. In our 27 years doing this we've never seen anything like it, nor has CBP.
They are releasing containers as fast as they can to allow us to make room for more containers. But that is also a complicated situation. This is not the fault of the terminal.
We are all at the mercy of these fraudulent importers and the forwarders/brokers who are helping them, and the process of routing them out. You, and hundreds of other customers across the US are in the same situation, as are all CES operators around the country. We have more than doubled our capacity in the past 6 months and it did almost no good.
